Having 3 kids (3 year old and twin 20 month olds), the wife's the 95 Civic Coupe was not cutting it any longer. 208+K miles and still going strong but space was the issue. We have 3 car seats on the back of my 5-Series but no room for a grandmom . We looked at several SUV's and Mini-Vans in our price range and they all drove like well SUV's and Mini-Vans..BLAND. The Mazda5 does not drive like any of those cars, this things handles, WOW! We wanted it in Black but opted for the Silver as we hope does not show the dirt as much. We got the car for $21750 + Tax and Tags and 1.9% financing for 60 months. The dealer threw in the rubber mats, wheel locks and a few oil changes in for free. Filled it up twice and averaged about 29 mpg on first tank (mainly hwy) and about 22 mpg on 2nd tank (mixed driving). Hoping the 22mpg is a fluke.
Just got it tinted this week with 35% film all around.
Future mods:
Wheels:
I like the stock wheels but I just so happen to have a set of 18X8 OZ Superlagerra III wheels that I think will look quite nice on it. Hoping the TPMS sensors are compatible with the Mazda5, if not I will be stairing at a light for a while
Will take some pics and post them.
Thanks

Future mods:
- Rear bumper guard (already ordered)
- Roof rack and/or trailer hitch. What are some of your opinions on either? What brands/type work and look the best.
- Speakers (stock ones are HORRIBLE) have some 6.5" MB Quart Components from a previous car. Hope they fit. Anyone add 6.5's in the stock 5x7 location? What adapters did you use?
- HID High's & Fogs, anyone know the bulb type? Has anyone tried this yet?
- DVD/LCD for the kids not sure if I am gonna do the roof mount or the head rests. Anyone have any info.
- Remote car starter. Should I go with the OEM unit or with an aftermarket. Does the OEM unit come with a separate remote or can the original key be used alone?
