Hmm... that's pretty sweet... but unfortunately, I'm waiting for everyone to become super fanbois and attempt to jump on the wagon just because "someone else did it so I can too."

I don't see why anyone would do a fwd rotary conversion just to jump on the band wagon. I see people doing it because they see it as an option and that's what they want to do to their car. I know I sure as hell wouldn't do something like this just because someone else did it. I'd do it if that's exactly what I wanted to do.

You'll be surprised how fast "Because I want to do it" changes after someone proves that it's possible.

    That's all I'm saying.

lol well guys, after its all said and done and i've got the setup working 100% i may look into producing adapter plates to sell

Yesterday i dropped off the 13B/KL trans to a friend of a friend (a tool and die maker) to get the CAD drawings made up and to get the first adapter plate made for testing, so now its the waiting game

The guy has other projects on the go right now so it may take him a few months to get it done though, but that's cool with me since i don't really have a car to drop it into right now

Automatic rear counterweight for 86-88 RX-7? I would definitely make sure this is the correct counterweight for your rotating assembly as they are different for different series. Either that or get the rotating assembly balanced.

Sorry but I can't stand the look of the MX3's so there's no chance of me swapping the 13B into one lol but once I've proven the conversion works, I'll sell ya an adapter plate so you can swap one in yourself

But yes that counterweight is for the proper year rotary (86-88 S4), at least that's what I was told and it's what I paid for lol

You may already be aware of this but with a good caliper/micrometer you should be able to figure out which series it's from: http://www.mazdatrix.com/faq/Rcounterweights.htm

If it turns out to be from a S5 I'll gladly take it off your hands

Actually I have never seen that link, so thanks for posting it, I do have a set of calipers to measure it with so I will do that to double check it, and if it's an S5, I'll shoot you a PM
