I wanted to wait until after the holidays to share my coverage
of this awesome event I had the pleasure of attending back in December.

The sheer variety of Mazdas that showed up was amazing and the fact
most of them were running on the circuit was very cool,
the icing on the cake was definitely the 787B appearance and demo run!

Fantastic turnout by the look of things, you are spoilt over there aren't you with these fantastic events?
were you the only Cosmo on view? I thought I spotted a white one in the pictures, keep the faith !!

Nice coverage on that event, I love seeing how they mod their cars over there..I just wish we could get those same parts without breaking the o'l bank account..lol!

You mean the orange racing car? Its powered by a R26B essentially a 4 rotor engine that produced 900hp at peak or 700hp during races. Featured a telscopic intake manfiold the first ever used on a racing engine IIRC. Lots of other cool stuff too just forget

Theres an engineering paper around somewhere on it, interesting read.

Everyone there has such a good looking car. Japan must have good taste. Nothing looks tacky or overdone. I would proudly drive any Mazda pictured above

Man, I bet your car rolls out with that KLZE in it! I am jealous though, I wish we could get the Lantis here in the US.
