I know I've come across pictures on here of some members who use hitch mounted boxes and am looking to have a discussion. from what I've researched, the only hitch receiver available for the 5 is a class I; hitch mounted boxes require a class II or III. a class II will physically fit but the pin location is different (or so I'm told).
I'm prone to feel a roof box is the better solution but am looking at all ideas.
also, although Mazda says don't tow, some people do at their own risk. does anyone have pictures of what they have towed?
(and please, this is for American members; I know European versions can and do tow, but that doesn't help, thanks!)
