#2 not firing at all. Where to start?

So the other day my car threw a code and started running like crap. It feels like its just not firing at all and the only code I'm getting is a cyl 2 misfire. I figured I would start by pulling the #2 plug and checking it out, but other than that what else am I looking for? I don't hear any grinding/popping/scraping/rattling ect so I think everything inside is still intact just the cylinder is going along for a ride. Any common problems I should be looking out for?

Plug, Coil, Wire. Start there and work your way forward. I would guess it's one of those.

I had a similar issue that was intermittent. The coil went out so I replaced both. Just do a tune up like suggested and if that doesn't fix it then shop around for some new coils I paid around 30 each
