New to the Mazda Community

Hey fellas,Im new to the Mazda community.Im picking up my MP5 next week and I have a few questions for ya.

Im paying 2,700 Cert & E-tested.

It has 210,000kms on it. What should I be looking out for besides rust.

He didn't have any service records on the timing belt,and its the stock clutch. Did I buy someone else's problems ? The car drove ok .

The rear wiper blade doesn't work,the ABS/Parking brake light is also on the dash as well.
Will the car pass safety with this stuff ?

Only mods for now will be some small stereo stuff.

Welcome! As far as things to look for, if the car is running good, then I would basically just be concerned about rust and the timing belt. Also, with that many miles, the motor mounts are probably toast.

Do you think they would catch that in when getting the car certified ?

I doubt it. If its anything like inspections here, they'll basically wanna know that brakes/glass/tires/suspension/steering are all good. It's not exactly a fine toothed comb.
