I have am 08 mazda 3i, is there any special tools needed to change the breaks or it's it pretty straight forward

Front brakes are a piece of cake. Rears however, you will need to turn the pistons in, unless a 08 sedan does not have the same type of caliper in the rear as my 06 hatch. I had to modify a socket to turn my caliper pistons in, and that was after I rented a kit from Autozone that the partsdude assured me would have what I would need.
