VERY Hard to shift into first

Whenever its warm out, it gets to where i can barely shift into first at a stop. It is really annoying. If anyones got any ideas on what its from, id be glad to hear them.

Have you changed the trans fluid and use oem Mazda fluid

Figure this out soon! You are gonna break a shift fork, if not already. Do other gears sometimes clash? If so, clutch may not be disengaging fully. (wear, slave cylinder, etc.) Is fluid level right and good quality?

No other gears clash, it all sounds good and seems to work fine. It will shift into first if I do it before coming to a stop, but if i do stop you really have to push it. I will try changin' the tranny fluid, but where do you drain it from? Its only in first gear and when its been driven for about 45 minutes after its warm. So maybe a thicker oil wouldn't break down so easy. Or would that be a bad idea?
