Pablo's 2004 MSM Build

Didn't I bloody tell you to get a better boost controller in the first place?

Red wheels are on the car, Direzza DZ101s 205/50/15. MSM wheels are up for sale, just need to clean them up to take a picture. Only need to buy the tru-boost and she'll be ready for spring.

Why did you go with such a wide sidewall and skinny width?

Why did you go with such a wide sidewall and skinny width?

I can tell if that is a serious question or not. :( But 205-50 is a super common size for Miatas. I have 2 sets in that size :)

I love those Racing Harts, but I think they'd look ridiculous on an NA.

Like Will said, its common and there are not a lot of options in a wider size that are a reasonable price AND have decent threadwear. Stock tires are also 205.

Waiting to hear back on a deal for the tru-boost. In the meantime, received parts for an audio upgrade. Need another amp and wiring kit.

8" speakers, 100 watts rms, way cheaper than Clearwater. Only found them in 8 ohms so I had to get an amp

Got everything I need for the audio upgrade, ordered fog delete covers and the AEM tru-boost. Looking forward to installing most of it on Saturday and taking her out for a spin

Got almost everything I ordered for the car, one of the fog covers will get here tomorrow. I like how it ended up looking, definitively better than a hole.

Took spare tire and jack out, cut the brace\support for the jack to make room for the amp. Covered the holes with silicone.

Running the wires wasn't as bad as I thought it was gonna be, just had to take a few things off

Since the grommet that goes to the door is an plug, there is no room for the new speaker wire so we cut a hole to run it

Evan cut out some particle board to make a base for the trunk, the amp ended up under it taking the space of the spare tire

the board covers most of the trunk and is secured by a bolt using the support for the spare tire

put it back together and you'll never know there's an amp in there, trunk is still fully functional

I really like the outcome, the sound is much better than it was before. I need to change some settings on the head unit, right now I'm not getting a lot of bass from most songs unless I crank it up. I had to go to work so didn't have time for the sub, will have to get to that later, should be a nice complement to the speakers.

Many thanks to Evan for helping me out, he couldn't resist taking a shot of my ass...
