Anyone have success with 15x7.5 running a 205 tire?

I have a set of 7.5 inch 6UL wheels in my garage that will be running a 205 tire and I've been a bit hesitant to get the tires mounted unless I know they are going to fit with minimum trouble. Offset is a +42. I see the post above where a 15x9 is being used without too much trouble so I'm figuring I'm in the clear but thought I'd ask.

I think you'll be fine. My 15x9s were .5" further IN towards the middle of the car than your setup will be (I needed a .25" spacer because the wheel hit the strut). You should be good without any spacers...

You can use this to mess around and see how offset/width affect different sizes:

I do not think you read the above post. 15x9 require fender pulling and rolling!

I rolled mine, no pulling. With the +36 15x9 I didn't have enough threads on the front wheel studs, that is the bigger issue if you ask me. I installed ARP studs (for a 1.8 Miata if I remember right, I posted the part #'s somewhere... fitment thread?)

Coming soon after I install my H&R springs and get an alignment! Tirerack put the blue valve stems on for some reason. They look like they'll match the car!

Those are going to look good on your 2. What size and offeset did you get?

I should be doing the springs the day after Christmas. I'll ride around on the stock steelies for a few days then get an alignment before I slap on the K1's. Hopefully by the end of next week I'll have it all done. I'll definitely post up pics as soon as.

They look like BBS RK wheels but not quite an exact match

Good guess but they seem a little off from the ones in the photos. Although very similar. Hopefully in the Tokyo Auto Salon on Jan 2012 we'll find out the wheel and tire set up.

Dang, that's actually a really nice color. Wish we could get that here, though I could do without the black roof. I'm tempted to Plasti-Dip the middle of my grille now though...

In the name of Science..

Just got my awesome 2, even though I am waiting for my H&R springs and a set of 15x8 wheels from tirerack I decided to test fit my Spyder's Autocross wheels(not mine anymore :( ), UL's 15x8 and 15x9.

I really hope the Springs do their job until I can afford coilovers.
