That ebrake is pretty cool..

I never understand why you turbo a miata, yet retain a style bar.. wtf? haha.. I'd say really try n get something decent for suspension, such as megans or something but racelands aren't TOO bad when you're not slammed.. they are soft as s*** though.

personally, i prefer softer since it'll see an occasional auto-x but 99% of the time it's a daily driver/cruiser.

I'd basically be getting the racelands to just cut the fender gap. Not slam

But it's on fairly new illuminas so i'm not overly worried about it.

Rollbar comes first.

But i agree on the WTF Style bar? Just havn't had a chance to remove it, apt complex is not happy with us working on cars in the parking lot

It's the voodoo e-brake. Previous owner thought the voodoo knob got too hot so he sold it and put the stock knob back on

thank ya sir, and yeah, this one is MUCH more fun!! Plus the A/C works

but yeah, he was. The car was basically built by the orig owner and he bought nearly everything from Flyin Miata (The Dealer Alternative as it was known then) including Flyin Miata Gen 1 lowering springs

Was too rough for him so it's back on stock springs with Iluminas

I sent off an email to a local metal fab shop about building a rollbar so i'll letcha know what happens with that.

yeah, orig owner/builder of the car has nearly every "Garage" section how-to printed out in that folder lol

as well as a bunch of posts from miata.net

Nope, sold that, bought a motorcycle, sold the motorcycle, bought this

Alignment done this AM

edit-also picked up a Boss Frog dual hoop roll bar

Put it on the dyno at the Rolex 24 and was pleasantly suprised
She's got a tuning issue at 6k and boost spike, but all in all i'm happy
Note- i've got a test pipe to install to replace what i think is a shot cat. Also will be putting in an AEM wideband and trying to source an adapter to my ECU so i can start data logging

This was not a tuning run, but a charity 2 pulls for $20

I didn't know you had a thread for your Miata! Nice dyno results.

When does the suspension work start? ;)

i forgot I had a thread as well lol

and suspensions not too high on the list, but it is on the list.

But still no idea what to put on it. I'm on stock springs with illuminas now, so rides not perfect

installing parts sitting in the room first

Sitting on the floor to be installed:
Test pipe
AEM wideband
motor mounts
gauges (stock cluster isn't quite right and not sure why -coolant temp bounces all over, oil pressure does nothing) so i've got gauges going in

to buy still:
timing belt/water pump and acces belts
tune
suspension

LOL wow didnt think i would find you on the forum. but yea i was at the rolex. i was with the tall kid chris that drove the blue mazda3 . but good news though... i bought the NA. its pretty clean ill post pictures soon.. once i get a camera
