Protege LX 2.0 Engine Swap

My 01 Protege has a warped head, and burnt piston rings. I'm hoping to replace the engine and have found an 01 626 with a 2.0L automatic. Now I'm just wondering if the engine from a 626 will fit my Protege?

im almost 100% sure it will...is yours a manual or automatic?
