Hello everyone! I'm new to the forum with a question.
I've been digging all over the place and can't find an answer, sorry if this has been answered before.
I have a 2008.5 Mazda 3 and an older Panasonic head unit (from around 2006) that I decided to put into my car because it has satellite radio.
I got the Metra dash kit and harness, followed the instructions and removed the stock unit, and I've managed to put in the aftermarket HU.
The problem is, I unplugged 3 things from the stock HU, one of them fits the harness, one of them is for the stock LCD display. What's the third one? I imagine it's the input from the steering wheel and the Aux input from the center console? I have no input from the Aux right now.
How can I get the Aux input to connect to my aftermarket radio? I've been searching all over and I have not found any sort of wire harness for this purpose. The aftermarket HU has an RCA for aux in.
