Repairing my side skirt -- body shop suggestions?

Hey folks,

So after furiously hitting a cone in 40 degree weather, my right side skirt, this time the stock one, flew 15 feet of the car and got all banged up/scratched up.

A brand new painted stock side skirt is $400 for one side! s*** went in price I guess, since the accessory one is now $426 (for both, albeit!).

Does it make sense to repaint the stock one that has some deep through the paint scratches?

If so, does anyone have body shop connections that could repair/repaint the skirt on the cheap?

ive got a guy who does painting cheap. he does body work for a living and also does it in his garage. sanded down and repainted my whole rear bumper for $200. he could do all the repairing too. He is down in clinton, ct though.

Is the cone ok????
