I just got a new cz9 (2010) and got the dealership to add on a bud and moonroof deflector. Then when we went through the carwash the sunroof leaked badly. After returning to the dealership twice they ended up replacing the moonroof but refused to put the deflector back on stating it was a defective product. Anyone else had similar problem?

I have the moonroof deflector from my old BMW. It fits by chance.
No leak. Had it on for 3 yrs. Installed it myself.
Went thru car wash at least 20 times.

Tricks? Common senses.
- install the hook between the rubber and metal, not rubber and moonroof.
- apply some transparent silicon around it

Mazda moonroof is designed to handle small leaks.
The water should be drained down through body frame to the ground. Unless the drain holes are
blocked, where did you see the "leak" per se?
