need help converting auto transmission to sport shift transmission

what do i need to do the converting from auto transmission to sport shift. i know it not the transmission . because my friend had to replace it and he when to a junkyard and toke a mazda protege auto transmission and put it in this mp5 sport shift transmission. so does that mean i just need the ecu and shifter? can help me out please.

According to this parts listing, there are different cruise modules too. In another thread someone was wanting to buy an engine wiring harness and an accelerator pedal, but it doesn't seem like those parts would be necessary unless the ECU has a different connector on it.

Anyone know about the harness, pedal, or any other piddly little parts that are needed? The tranny is the same IIRC.
