CX-9 auto lock programming works on Mazda6

Is there another method? I'm looking for it. Supposedly there should be according to the manual.

In my European Mazda6 Wagon 2016 with the highest spec available (including keyless entry, buttons on the outside to lock/unlock when the keyfob is nearby etc), I do not have an interior lock/unlock button. My driver side door looks like this:

In my manual the method above is listed, but that doesn't work because I do not have the lock/unlock button on the driver side next to the automatic window switches. The only things I can set in my settings menu on MZD is the walkaway lock function and how long the car waits to auto-lock again (just like someone else posted in the thread).

There is also another method listed that points to a page 5-67 in the manual, but this page is just blank. I have an open case with Mazda Sweden and my dealer about this, but they have not been able to answer yet. The mechanic I talked to at the dealer said they don't have any OBDII settings generally, "that's now how Mazda does things".

I did read the manual very carefully before I bought this brand new highest spec Mazda6 and I really wanted setting no 4 (I think it was) where everything is locked when the car is not in Park. I didn't try it on the dealer car though, I would never have expected this not to work. All cars I have driven the past 5-10 years have had automatic locking enabled. As it is right now, when I am standing at a stop light, someone can just open by trunk or any door on the car!

If you for instance look at http://idn.tweddle.com/media/mazda/1767b_Mazda6_Owner's_Manual_8EA5-EE-14K_OM.pdf , 9-18 refers to settings seen on page 5-67, but 5-67 is just empty. The reference to 3-18 describes the method that seems to work on US spec cars that have this lock/unlock button on the inside (that I do not have).

So any other hints are greatly appreciated.
