New owner, need advice

Bought my '02 P5 in July for $5500.00 with 56k on it. In great shape and fun to drive. I noticed lots of wheel noise and took to a mechanic. Tires are cupped due to worn out struts in the front. Not impressed with Monroe or Gabriel available at local autoparts stores. Considering KYB GR2's. Any suggestions? Also, I am a Do It Yourselfer and cannot find a repair manual for this car. Thanks

I have Tokico Blues on mine which are probably stiffer than what you want. Check the "How To" section for repair items. Good luck.

The stock setup is good, available from a dealer. You have many many options, if you can narrow down what exactly you are looking for you will get better responses. If it is cheap and reliable you are looking for go with the tokico setup from mazda, I have some used if you want to make an offer pm me and I will post pics.
