Team Pro5 Roll Call

Yup your the first! Hey what kind of window visor are those you got? Really like that look

Those came with the car stock. They usually came with the JDM Sport 20 but I guess how they did this edition they just put them on the car. There are a few bits of stuff that look different from the original RSS (Familia S-Wagon) that was the base for the @Navisport. I took them off recently because the one on the driver side started to develop cracks. I think they are JDM as the Sport 20 has it and could quite possibly be sourced from Japan or even Australia. Sadly I won't be putting them back on, however one of my buddies in our crew has taken them to mold them in Carbon Fiber. I could always talk to him and see if he is willing to do a small production run for you guys.

I know you guys may have come across this before as well but a little below is pretty much what my car looked like but I had the visors and the other note worthy aspect is the car came with 22R silver which I know started to come on the CX7.

here is a dyno right after the conversion, of my best run with the original butterflied VICS manifold and non butterflied 626 manifold back to back.
This was with a factory p5 non turbo exhaust

Photos from the FMIC.
Ive finally installed the second piece of the mazdaspeed injen intake that hides the pod infront of the passenger wheel arch.

I'll take some better ones, when I get some time to clean the car up

new dyno tune touch up since the fmic installation.

unchanged boost level since old run.
since the original conversion, I have added 2.5" exhaust and 2.5" plumbed fmic.

need to purchase a electronic boost solenoid to have wired in and have the ems control the boost and elimate that 15psi boost spike

Savage bj2! How much did you spend on parts and shipping ?

The parts werent that expensive.
I was lucky enough to get all the bits off all the same vehicle with 50k miles.

The ems delivered from the U.S. to me in Sydney was much more than I budgeted.
Then the USDM ecu is not plug and play and different then our locally delivered bj's, so that was another immediate non budgeted cost.

If I had budgeted for all this additional expense, I would of dumped the FS-DE and went immediately to a low km BPT with aftermarket ecu.

With my old bpt conversion in my 2 door laser (aka. escort) I was making over 130kw at the wheels with the same boost, and a much smoother and calmer engine, than my FS-DE.

My only problem is our emission laws prohibit older engines and running gear from being installed into newer model vehicles and street registered.
