side motor mount. Why is there so much fluid there?
Damn it.
Well, I guess this settles the debate over whether this mount was fluid-filled. This was brought up in a thread several months ago, and it looks like I lost...wesleyjack

It is surely fluid filled and a mess. I got rear ended and this was part of the internal damage. but i'm not sure if it is the cause of the really rough idle.
well the mechanic can fill me in today.

another possibility.
this thing is really close to the power steering fluid container so there is a good chance that in the process of getting broken that thins started to leak too.
so those who say no fluid are still probably right
