Aftermarket Radio and Speakers and Factory Tweeters questions.

So I've replaced my factory speakers using the wiring that was available in the factory speaker holes, however the tweeters are still hooked up.

Has anyone had problems blowing out the factory tweeters with an aftermarket head unit? I'm pushing 28 RMS now (no aftermarket amp or anything) and I'm a little worried they cant handle it....

Should I just disconnect them and let the tweeters on my 2-ways (up front) and 3 ways (in the rear deck) do all the work?

Yeah, I'd probably just leave the stock tweets disconnected. I don't know for sure, but most stock tweeters probably can only handle 10-15w or so a piece.

Great.. i guess i gotta take the doorpanels of again....
