If you're seeing this thread for the first time, skip the first few pages. Car looked like s*** and I had no idea what I was talking about 80% of the time.

Hey guys well its only been a little less then 2 months since I've had this car..
so it's not MUCH.. but this should make for an interesting few years or however long it takes me to finish it!
so in these pictures here's whats been done:
- Painted the rear lip
- cleaned & painted calipers orange
- Cleaned and painted stock rims
- Blacked out tails + side markers
- Painted small area just below the grille (top one)
- Removed stock radio & replaced with a Pioneer deck (amazing looking @ night)
- Added some underglow to the front seats

2 10inch (or 1.. now debating) Subs are going into the back (still looking for a way to put them in the trunk and save some space)

engine is fully stock right now. but when i get back from my trip next week that will be the next thing to start doing..

let me know what you guys like or hate on the car, and I'm open to suggestions.

also, sorry about the picture quality I just took these snaps off my iPhone.
but there will be more to come!

*Edit: I lied, before engine stuff.. rotors... so, suggestions? thanks!

Thanks guys, and gals!
Yeah, im really considering the 1 sub instead of 2 now..

And I WANT to lower this car, but few things...
- gonna get a front lip and see how it looks
- I live in Canada, and this is my all year round car..so I'm not sure if lowering will work out in my favor.

But on this topic how do I go abouts lowering er? Just new springs? And how much might this cost me?

look into doing the MSP set up, lowers it .75in and stiffens it up a bit too. that requires the shock/struts and springs from one. all can be delivered pretty cheaply too.

oh and go with the 1 sub, it still takes up space in the trunk but not nearly as much as having 2. i enjoy my 1 12" because i can still fit a bunch of groceries in there

That's a clean P5, I love the Midnight blue. It would look really clean if you paint the centercaps, calipers, emblems and headlight housings black. Then lower it, etc etc but it looks great for now. I tinted my 3rd brake when I did my tails and I thought it looked good, blends into the spoiler.

Yeah it actually occured to me today that I forgot to do the light on the wing. So I'll be sure to do that when I get the time :)
And I think I might take a crack at the fronts..they are way to white for my likings lol

Wow, VERY clean P5. Looks really good, man. I agree to lower it, but you don't have to "slam" it. A lot of members on here, and myself, are happy with Tein S-tech springs and Tokico HP shocks. As you can see in my sig, it's lowered but I don't have to worry about speedbumps and driving in the snow.

What did you use to tint your tails? They look really good and glossy. I want to tint mine but I've seen a lot of tails look purple or dull.

LOL yeah, that 3rd light is so stealthy..

And what i did for tinting was..

Sanded down the tails with 400 grit
Cleaned with some rubbing alcohol
Sprayed 2 double coats of VHT tint spray
Then 2 double coats of clear after the tint dried fully (i went out for dinner so they were long dry)

I highly recomend u do the gloss or it looks terrible!!!

looks nice. not really diggin the tinted tails or black rims tho. thats just my opinion. i would have gone white for the rims if mine was this color. and definetly you should get suspension tho. if you got the money dont fckn around with cheap springs or struts, just go full coilover and i guarantee you will be happy. then one day if you feel like going stock height you can just jack up and adjust. if theres an up coming show, jack up and drop. lol.

Hey man, i see your from ontario thanks to your plate, are the cops hard on your for the tinted tails? i live near windsor and the cops are always pulling us over for tinted tails.

Really? lol I haven't had any troubles yet..and I actually just drove all the way to Quebec city, and will be leaving here to go back home tomorrow and I've had no problems.

Looks good bro.....try painting all your emblems too...and yes you need to drop that badboy..Try Tein springs...I lived in chicago lots of snow...never have a problem besides less snow in the wheel well...

Thanks, yeah I was looking at the emblems today at work thinking of that.
I think I'll be painting the headlight housing black, black out the front emblem.

For tomorrows project. I'm thinking of painting my pillars black and some trim on the inside.
Also debating on putting something ridiculous for my roof instead of black, might do white tiger print or something. (interior not exterior)
