Speed 6 coolant light

I have a 2006 Speed 6 and my coolant light came on the other day, checked the coolant level and its good and the car is not running warmer than normal. Any idea? Heard of the temp sensor going out but wouldnt that throw the cel and not the coolant light. . any input is appreciated

It won't throw a CEL, it will throw that light if the sensor is bad. Double check the sensor, you should be able to ohm it out or insert a resistor in the connector to check if the light goes off
