My '06 has the infamous knock. How many folks here have successfully fixed this issue in their driveway with normal hand tools and jackstands? Looks fairly easy but I'm just curious.
Also...what happens if I continue to drive it with the knock? Can I permanently damage something or is it more of an annoyance issue? Eventually I will fix it but I just don't have the time right now (and it is no longer under warranty).
