Painting rear bumper "strip"?

Hey today I'm planning on painting that rear bumper *strip*. Not to sure the proper name for it, seen a lot of member have done it, usually black. Just wondering what peoples thoughts were on either going with a flat(matte), gloss, or satin.

Just a side note, I do have a flat black can from my emblems. Would I just have to get a clear coat in either of the finishes I mentioned above?

I think gloss would probably look best, but matte could be interesting...

I just recently did that to my car, look for my thread on my car. And u can see what it looks like painted. I've got the same color car as you do, and I went with a gloss black and clear coated it a few times.

Look under my posts "Flav's brotege 5" I have it done to my car in a gloss.
It's a small thing, but makes a really good impression I think!
