I just sold my Protege, thought these might be of use.

1998 Mazda Protege factory Workshop Manual & Wiring Diagram.
1999 Protege Service highlights, Wiring Diagram & Bodyshop manual.
The 1998 Wiring diagram got wet. It was dried immediately. There
is no mold or sticky pages. It is just a bit curly. The 1999 manuals
are new in plastic.
