Hello everyone,
My mazda 3 has proved to be very reliable since I bought it, but I am now noticing two rather annoying noises. One noise is coming from the clutch...it is like a popping and rubbing sound when the clutch is released slowly..most noticable either when cold or in reverse. Possible throw out bearing? My other noise, is coming from the rear of the vehicle when the vehicle comes to a complete stop. It is a loud banging noise, and then I will hear a pop right after that, sometimes just one, or it could be as many as 5 pops and bangs. Any ideas are greatly appreciated. I was just going to take it in when I am due for an oil change in another 3 thousand miles, but are these issues something that should be dealt with immediately?
