16" wheels

What is the proper 16" wheel/tire combination for our cars? Is there an OEM wheel in the proper size?

Canadian GS-spec OEM tires are 205/55R16 although 205/60R16 works as well and are slightly cheaper.

There are no OEM 16" wheels for the Mazda5 Stateside. Maybe you can make arrangements w/one of our Canadian faithful here to either trade+cash or buy some from a local-to-them dealer and ship to you. They are also base OEM in Europe too, but shipping will set you back a bit.

You can use 16" alloys from a Mazda 3, 6, and the later model 626s.

The rare 195/60R16 has the same diameter as the 205/55R16. They'll provide slightly better fuel economy and snow traction at the cost of handling.
