FM transmitter and hands free for Iphone

Hi:
I have a Mazda 5 2007 and I was wondering if someone has tried one of this in a Mazda 5 like mine.

The cigarette lighter is kind of hidden under the radio on this car and I dont know if the flexible pole is gonna make it up as it should.

I have one for my Ipod Nano (the square one). I need to insert it sideways with the top toward the passenger seat, but after some twisting, it works.

Thanks for the answer.

So it means that the ipod is not facing you but to the passenger? Or it's facing you but more like in the passenger space?
