I am doing a engine build for my 01 MP3 and found out that my crank is bad. I wanted to know if an 95-02 MX6 fs 2.0 crank shaft will work will our FSDE/ZE engines.
I believe the MP3 has a forged crank. I know the MSP does. If the MP3 crank is forged, you will need to find another forged replacement.
1993-1997 Probe and MX-6 FS blocks do not have forged cranks.
2000-2002 626 FS blocks and a few 1999 FS blocks(1999 depending on block production date) have been reported to have forged cranks
