I like the Prorack Whispbar because of its low profile and aerodynamics. I went with the Thule Atlantis 1600XT because it just fits with no overhang, and is fairly aerodynamic in its shape.

Thanks for the update. How much of a load have you been putting up there? Have you been careful to not exceed the "100lb limit" on the factory rails?

I have not been paying attention to the weight of the load I put in the box. The OE side rails are pretty sturdy. The 100 lbs. limit is most likely due to the OE crossbars. The whispbars I have on the rails are rated at over 200 lbs. So I'm not too concerned.

Thanks for the reply. I decided to go with the monster Thule 2100 box and to be safe the Thule podiums for extra peace of mind ( 165 lb rating with this setup). I hope it doesn't look to ridiculous, though! I'll post pics for others to see.
