B bomdoutscort Member Dec 13, 2016 #102 I've bent valves but not from the belt snapping but from the timing belt spring rubber getting into the timing belt and throwing off the timing. After I re-timed it you could hear a faint tapping sound. The more I drove it the worse it got.
