Factory remote start

So apparently the 2010 3 can come w/remote start as a factory-installed option. Mine has it (didn't exactly want it, but got it anyway). I can start it fine, but when I open any door, the engine shuts off. Probably a safety feature. Does anyone know if there's a way to reprogram it so it doesn't turn off the engine when the door is open?

I just got mine yesterday, and it wont even let me open the doors when its auto-started. bringing it back tomorrow to have them look at it...

From what I have heard you can't change it. That is why I didn't go with the factory one.

well it was prettymuch that car or nothing. I'm glad I have it, but I never really wanted it anyways
