Welcome! I just got Mazda Value brake pads OEM for $45 for the front set and rotors I got from Lordco Auto Parts for like $100 for the front pair... definitely no problems so far.

Yah, mind you I did the install myself. Allow for about $200 for labour for pads and rotors. I had to buy $120+ in tools as it was my first time installing but what a great experience and when I have to change the pads it'll just be $45.

Welcome 065tour. We had the front rotors turned to cure warping. The 5 had 24000km at time of service.

Brakes work great now: strong bite, smooth stops, no problems.
