Wrong Stereo Kit ( Mazda5 )?

I have a 2008 and Crutchfield sent me the stereo dash installation kit that says it's for a 2006-07. Is this going to work or should I not even bother trying?

Thanks!

It should work, but you should be able to tell right away if it looks like it won't fit.

Am I missing something?

Crutchfield has one of the best telephone,
chat, e-mail support... return policies... and
refund programs I've ever seen, that is why
Crutchfield is a little above average in price
on most things.

Relax, (thinkbeer the car is not going anywhere,
you're not going to die if you don't have your
stereo installed by Christmas. (nailbyt)

Just send it back and get the right one, IMO
the time spent getting the right one, is BETTER
than the mess/time to jam the wrong one in there,
...right?

Then you'll have ruined the one they sent,
messed up your car, and still have no installed
stereo.

But hey, that is from the guy that spent close
to 2K on a sound system and it's not even being
used, because I'm waiting until X-Mas is over
then pick back up, and get the other 2K worth :)

just saying. (burnout)

Peace!(rei)

Give them a call to ask just in case, but dimensions/mechanics should be the same, but the faceplate color is different from the 2006-2007 to the 2008+ (it is darker silver for the Sport or black-ish piano type finish for the Sport with the Popular Package, Touring and Grand Touring). If you don't mind that I guess there is one less thing to worry.

Here is one of the manufacturers (Scosche), take a look, I don't see differences:

2007:
