So my other beater car seemed to have taken a turn for the worse, possibly death...
On my GF's way home back from work, she said the car wasn't keeping in gear and kept revving high (sounds like slippage). Car finally dies on her, I go check it out, it miraculously started up and limped home. When we got there, the car was refusing to go into Reverse. We turn off the car, restart it, and it goes into reverse just fine put it back into drive and park it.
Now this morning, the car won't go into ANY gear at all and there's this loud buzzing/whining noise coming from the tranny. Fluid levels are normal but the fluid smells crazy stink.
It's screwed isn't it???
