Dashlight Color Change

I have a 2008 Mazda 3 and i was wanting to change out the blue dash lights for the speedometer and the Tach. I was wondering if anyone else has attempted this or has done it. Also what lights should be used. Along with how much of a pain it is to change them out.

I don't recall where I saw it, but you'd have to dismantle your dash to get at the circuit board, and be very good at soldering.
Not sure about the blue lights, but all the speedo/tach lights are those *tiny* surface-mount LEDs, and there are something like 15-20 of them...

I recall thinking that it would only be worth it if someone whipped up a circuit to drive multi-color LEDs and allow for a knob or push-button color adjustment.
