I just got a set of 245/35/17 Toyo R1R's and put them on yesterday. These are some sweet tires. I ran the Toyo P4 in a 225/45/17 and got great mileage. I got a deal on some discontinued Toyo T1S in the 245/35/17 and have been running them for a while. Not so great on the wear but, good grip and the shorter tire gives better acceleration...spedo is off by 10 @60 mph. Anyone know how to recalibrate for that? Took a long drive in the hills pushed pretty hard.. Tires take a great seat in the turns and talk to you when you get close to the edge of traction. Amazing grip.

only way to recalibrate is to change the tire size on the bcm. which isn't an option on all mazda 3's.

you will need IDS to do this by the way
