So i just emailed the pervious owner of my 2003 Protege5 (his dad sold it as POA since he's over sees fighting) and he was told by a dealer that the car does NOT have a keyless entry system. I thought all P5's had keyless entry as a standard option? Does anyone have a truth about this?

AFAIK all proteges did, especially the p5 (higher trim level). dealer probably kept to sell them or they received it from the previous previous owner with no key fob.
should be able to find them on ebay for under 10 dollars. instructions on programming can be found on here, to lazy to search for thread. dealer will try to charge at least $100 dollars to program...takes about 15 seconds to do it yourself..
