squeaky suspension

just wondering if anyone else's suspension squeaks horribly when its really cold out.

It's a common thing. It's usually the sway bar bushings.

it might be but i dont know. it sounds like alot more then sway bar bushings. at least alot different than the sway bar bushings on the excursion

Yep, annoying. Personally mine kinda sounds like the shocks/springs due to being so cold. I could very well be wrong.

from what I've noticed at work... many times it's the springs or just bushings throughout the car... i.e. sway bar bushings, control arm bushings... etc... or it could even be certain body panels or the chassis itself.

Once it went below 15* my car squeaks like hell from the suspension. Front, rear, side to side any movement makes noise. Damn cold weather, no problems above 15 that I had noticed, we'll see if it ever warms up again.

mine only squeek if theres alot of up and down movement. other than that theyre pretty quiet
