Climate Controls don't work with Remote Start

When I start the car via remote start, the heating/cooling settings I had turned on before turning the car off are not on. I have to turn the ignition on before they come on. It sucks when it is 10 below and knowing the car won't be warm when you get in.

Any ideas on how to get this to work?

My settings stay the same when I use the factory remote start.
You might want to have the dealer look at it.

Apparently there is a TSB regarding remote start and options like windshield wipers and heat. There is a defect in the remote start electronics causing the problem. The problem is not in these accessory systems, per se. The fix involves a wiring workaround, and looks involved enough for Mazda to pay the tech a whole hour and a half. Don't know if it's your issue or not.

Was able to fix it. The remote start HVAC #1 fuse was blown. Use the instructions posted above to get to the remote starter fuse box. I replaced the fuse and everything works again. It takes about 15 minutes to replace. Thanks for the feedback everyone.
