Working in Costco is a great thing. Contrary to most merchants, Costco is siding with Obama in his call to increase the federal minimum wage to $9 an hour. In fact, it would do the President one better, supporting a minimum hourly wage of $10.10.
The reason Costco likes that is they pay their people more than $10.10. Raising the minimum wage would cripple small business, which is what Obama wants to do. Costco probably contributed millions to his campaign.
