i think it introduced alot of people to the scene. think about it, before F&F, there were basically no games, movies, or even people that knew about the sport compact/tuner thing.
F&F is to the tuner scene as Bill Gates is to the PC

bill gates revolutionized the way we use computers. FnF takes the scene, s**** all over it, and spoons feeds it to young teenagers thinking thats what the real car scene is about...
I hate FnF movies, but i sure as hell will see this one. its a love hate relationship.

it takes almost 40 seconds for them to get into fourth gear.
they managed to hit over 140 miles an hour on a 1/4 drag race...with plenty of race left
the 1/4 drag race took over 2 minutes
they must have been using bike trannies... because those cars each had at least 20 gears.
