Driver Seat Leg Room

I love my Mazda5 except for one thing. My right knee is pressing against the plastic moulding where the shifter is. Is there any way to add more room for my knee? Cut a hole in the console? Any suggestions would help.

I wonder if more height on the drivers seat adjustment would help?

The seat goes forward as it goes up .

I am 6'-5" w/ 38" pant legs and have to run the seat all the way down to be comfortable.

My only real gripe as well. Wish there was more room for the driver. I recline the seat more than I would - make it more "car like" - and can get it to work form me. Wheel is farther from me then - but hey - makes it like a European car.
