wow... thats really weird. they're not that hard or expensive to replace. its the relay unit (if i remember correctly). on the 2001 Mazda MP3 (the prototype per-say for the MSP) those things would go out at around 100,000 miles and need to be replaced. I replaced mine back when i had an mp3. i think mazda fixed the issue on the msp's but anyways... so they're not that hard to replace. pop old one out and the new one in really. i think it cost me like $80.
are all 3 dials missing? because they are all 3 one unit.
