I didn't come straight from a subaru, but I used to have a 2004 white STI, silver wheels.
no mods at all.
quick story why it's gone:
i parked it outside my office back in 2004. the parking space was at the base of a hill. at the top of the hill (about 50 feet high elevation) was a construction area where a building was being constructed. a mini landslide came down and a small caterpillar bulldozer came down the hill along with tons of dirt. the bulldozer ended up smashing into the front end of the STI. and that was that.
I moved onto a VW R32 after that. haven't looked back since, until today heh.

How do you guys with stage 2 wrx's feel the ms3 stands? I did some pulls against an 07 stage 2 with 600 miles on my engine and we were pretty much even, maybe me pulling slightly. I'm gonna go with him again once i get 1000+ miles to see if it makes any difference.

Sounds about right. I looked on cobb's website and their stage 2 is making about 225/275 to the wheels on 16.5 psi. My friend was running about 18psi on his so he was probably making closer to 240hp which is why our race was more even. Another guy I know is going stage 4 on his 2.0L wrx motor with a vf34. Should be interesting to see how i stack up against that one. I bet I can get the jump on him, but as he gets into the upper rpm's he'll probably fly past me.
