What is a good system to look for ? Who makes a system for the Protege5 ?
I would like a quiet sounding system - this is still a family car .
I would like to hear of your experiences .

i'd suggest racing beat.

do NOT get the mazdaspeed sport muffler. it drones pretty bad on the highway.

Is your exhaust for a sedan or a 5 ? I understand there is a tailpipe length difference of 5-7 inches - the sedan being longer .

I am running a Magnaflow catback with stock header and stock midpipe and no droning here. Actually quite quiet.

So, Racing Beat or MagnaFlow would be my suggestions to you

i have a racing beat cbe mated w/ a race header, and it certainly is louder, but you can still have conversations and dont have to turn up your radio.

It looks like finding a racing beat system here in Canada is somewhat tricky .
Their website offers them for sale at $449 + shipping . Is there a better price around ?
Any Canadian distributors ?
