could someone please tell me what to buy or where i can buy the wiring harness for the mp3 for a different head unit other than stock.

ANYWHERE that sells stereos.
Best buy, Circuit City, Car stereo One, Crutchfield, etc.....

i just cut my original harness and spliced the wires to the new head unit.

yeah well the best buy..walmart...and all those good stores around me only sell for mazdas 89 and up and dont list proteges. is that where u got urs and it fit? im not trying to have to buy 8 diff ones and have to return them all. and im not trying to splice the wires... but if thats my only option...
