Door Lock Actuators

Hey,
I have an '00 Mazda Protege ES (4 dr) and all 4 door lock actuators have gone out (not at once, but gradually). 3/4 seem to work fine with the weather is cool (but they do malfunction) and they barely work when it's hot outside. I took it to Mazda and they said all 4 actuators need to be replaced. They said the relay is working fine under the dash, and that all four locks are getting power and ground...but they wanted to charge me $700...any ideas of cheaper alternatives and/or PARTS?

They may be getting power and ground - but do you have sufficient amperage?

All four failing like that is kinda' suspect. No one else has this problem AFAIK...

F/S thread...Alot of people are parting out thier cars right now..Ask them they could probably pull it off for you for cheap
