hard to shift

hey guys even though this is my first stick shift car and i have only had it for about 3 months i feel like it is really hard to shift with the clutch and 1-2 gear. First of all 1-2 always makes like a clunk sound anyone else get this? Also i feel that if the clutch wasn't so high that i would be able to smooth out the shifts alot better. what do you guys think i should do to help me smooth things out alot?

theres a thread on how to do a clutch adjustment in the how to section or somewhere on this section of the forum.. also MT-90 tranny fluid would help ya out a bit too

I have the same problem and have done the clutch pedal adjustment. I can nail all the shifts but 1-2 is the one that seems to get me especially when taking off smooth.

Well i feel better now knowing that i'm not the only one who is having a hard time shifting I will definately put in MT-90 and see if i can find someone to help me do the clutch adjustment since i dont trust myself
